Two young men named Mike and Dave decided to go on a hike through the woods. They were walking around having nice "guy talk" when all of a sudden a bear appeared from the bushes. Dave, being the scaredy cat, quickly put a little pep in his step, and climbed up into a nearby tree, leaving Mike alone and helpless on the ground.
Mike was a rather chunky man, so he knew he couldn't climb into a tree. He assumed he could be killed by this bear, so he used his instincts and laid down, held his breath, and acted dead. Sniffing him up and down, the bear found no interest in him, and his death like appearance, and quickly left. Before he left, however, he whispered something into Mike's ear.
Once the bear left and went on its merry way, Dave slowly crawled down from the tree, and smiled at Mike. Mike gave him a rather nasty look and informed him about what the bear had whispered in his ear. "Never go on hikes with terrible friends that abandon you at the first sign of danger."
